The Prince’s Trust Million Makers challenge is an entrepreneurial fundraising competition, which sees talented teams from companies across the country competing to outdo each other, all in the name of charity.

Each team is attempting to turn £1,500 into £10,000 in just six months.

Steve Shergold was appointed by the Princes Trust to mentor a high flying team of solicitors from Osborne Clarke, one of the UK's largest legal firms to meet this challenge.

The general consensus at the beginning was that the team would double the amount expected and target £20,000 for the charity over 6 month period. Using the techniques Steve had implemented at other organisations which including implementing a number of fund raising activities including quiz nights, sponsored bike rides and music events the team agressively persured this ambitious target.

After the final event, a quiz evening hosted by Carol Vorderman, the team had more than doubled the amount and raised over £20,000 for the charity.
